The Adaptive Economies & Communities Initiative

The Adaptive Economies & Communities Initiative (AECI) is an independent emerging project focused on helping communities anticipate and adapt to emerging labor market shifts associated with automation.

AECI has two core pillars: Research & Analysis, which studies how automation is and may affect workers and communities; and Purpose & Place, which explores how people and communities can preserve dignity, belonging, and meaningful roles as traditional pathways shift.

AECI is currently in an exploratory and development phase.
